No eyelash curler was used

I gotta admit, lately I seem to be lash obsessed( i am also obsessed with foundations , Blushes , err umm OK ! pretty much everything ) .  I dont have thick long beautiful lashes , instead ,they are short, sparse.

I have already blogged about my HG mascara, which is not available in pakistan so i am on never ending hunt for another HG mascara

 I got a lovely package 2 days ago , I loved everything But first I wanted to test the mascara, so I applied few coats to my top lashes of one eye. I couldn't believe how much length and curve showed in my lashes, just 2 coats.The brush is slightly curved,You can easily reach the lashes with this brush.I am sure this brush gives my lashes  a lift and curve upwards, Thats how i am  left with nicely curled, fluttering lashes.

Only thing which disappointed me is that it doesn't thickens my lashes. Luscious Incredible Lash Mascara is great with lengthening  and curling the lashes as you can see above, * Please not the emphasis on curl*

 This has the waterproof formula which you can easily remove it with wet wipes. eye makeup remover.

This product is ideal for contact lens wearer. It is also hypoallergenic. 

Final say :Luscious Incredible Lash Mascara doesn't do WONDERS, but it does pretty decent  job and i hate using eye lash curlers ,i think i have found  a decent mascara , which is easily available in Pakistan to curl my lashes.

 I truly L-O-V-E this product.. yes in Caps.

I travel ALOT. If not mostly then usually everymonth , and i do travel long distance. ( writing it like this makes me think maybe i live in middle of nowhere) !! hmph

Ok back to I truly love this product...and i realized this last month when i was shopping for my engagement , and had to roam around the Lahore city in car with mom & sister.I have kinda sensitive skin when its exposed to the sun.  I Keep it in the fridge for extra cooling ,So i always carried it in my bag , whenever i  have been out in the sun a bit too long , i used it liberally all over my arms ,face and neck as soon as i was back in the car.I really love how it feels on skin after applying ...it instantly cools. It leaves a minty, cooling , refreshing sensation that lasts for a few minutes. I like the Korres Yogurt Cooling Gel form because it isn't  greasy and is very pleasant to use. The smell is kinda odd, its kinda sweet(maybe jasmine yougur-tish kind) , and I'm not really into sweet fragrances,they give me headache, but the smell of Korres Yogurt Cooling Gel faints off after few minutes.

It works really well , if you got a sunburn. I don't get sunburn, but  my skin becomes dry and itchy during the hot Pakistani summer months, so this is also very calming for sun sensitive areas like the shoulders and back.

Final Say : Multitasker Korres Yoghurt Cooling Gel, contains yoghurt to help increase the water content in the top layers of your skin, as well as fennel extract to calm swelling and irritation, while soothing redness 

It is Highly recommended , and a Must have product for these hot summer months. After all it is a Rave post , as the title suggests. My bottle expires in 2012, and i have still plenty left , maybe next year i will be in states with Mr.Glossicious , and i will convert him to this gel , but i guess it has kinda feminine smell to it.

Pros:
My skin feels really smooth & well-hydrated

I love Korres products , i am a die heart fan to be honest and i think Korres and i are soul mates.;) I first came across them in quite an unusual way.. BLOGGING
I was reading reviews and i came across a review of Korres lip butter on you tube i guess , i googled Korres and then there was no turning back.
Korres Wild Rose 24-Hour Moisturizer SPF 6 . I have been using it for more than 3 months and i can say its my HG moisturizer. I have read numerous reviews before i started using it that it doesn't moisturize enough but for my dry skin , it worked beautifully.The scent isn't overbearing at all, and is quite pleasant. It smells subtly of roses. The cream contains wild rose oil which is a natural source of vitamin c and this also may help  in the repair of fine lines. It also contains anti-oxidants. The cream also contains grape seed oil and titanium dioxide which is a natural sunscreen.

Now that I'm nearing the end of the small tube and i am so sad because Korres products aren't available in Pakistan. Why Korres WHY???

Review - Maybelline Pulse Perfection Mascara

Maybelline Pulse Perfection Mascara:

Following hot on heels of two vibrating/oscillating mascaras launched by Lancôme and Estee Lauder, Maybelline came up with their take on the idea: Pulse Perfection. It isn’t launched in Dubai yet, but I got a friend to bring this for me. I have a fetish for mascaras, just thought you should know. ;-))

Anyway, the formula is same as define-a-lash mascara as per the packaging and it claims to  
Transforms your lashes to perfection with:   

Patent-pending elastomer brush vibrates 7,000 times per stroke

                   Provides clump-free definition, intense color, and shine

                         Waterproof; also available in washable formula

                      Builds lash volume, length, and adds curl 

                        Buildable formula

                        Ideal for All Skin Types

                     Contact lens safe

          

       

Available in just the black color, I got a waterproof version of it. Eager to try, I read the instructions a bit wary of the buzzing wand poking my eyes out but tried it out anyways.

There’s a teeny button at the tip of the wand that one has to press down on to start the pulsating, as long as you have it pressed, the buzz would continue, so it is not as daunting a task as it  may sound. But it would take a bit getting used to, the wand and button on top are not ergonomic to speak off.

I was not such a fan of Define a Lash formula. It did just that, defined lashes without adding any length or volume. It was so disappointing I screwed it up really tight and gave the bright green tube to my son to play  with when we’re out and he thinks it’s time to throw a tantrum. SO it serves well as a toddler distraction.

For Best Results

Step 1: On the mascara cap, pull plastic tab to remove it completely, then discard. 

Step 2: Press the button to activate pulsation. Release the button to stop. 

Step 3: While pressing the button, place brush at base of lashes and move slowly towards lash tip. Continue applying coats to achieve preferred lash look. 

Step 4: Repeat for lower lashes

Back to Pulse Perfection: the vibrations make it easier to coat each lash and yes, define them, but…expect no curl, no volume or lengthening. NO,Nothing, Nada.

But for the novelty of the oscillating wand it gets high points. If you want defined, natural looking lashes, this would be your go to, but for a night-out, need luxurious lash look, invest in some other tube. It is steeply priced for an average formula at the moment. Reformulate and then we could see if it works then!
