The Haul - August 2011 ( Bobbi Brown , Dior , Accessorize) & Eid Mubarak

My cousin came back from london a week ago. Since we live in different cities we met yesterday when she came to see me and guess what ? She bought me so many ahmazing things that i almost died.

By the grace of God i am very fortunate to have such amazing family who have some really great taste when it comes to buying gifts . She knows i blog and she know exactly what i love. I love you M.

MAC Warmth of Coral Mineralize Blush - Photos , Swatch & Review

MAC Semi Precious Collection launched couple of weeks ago  for summer 2011. This collection is all about Mineralize products.The 32 piece collection includes twelve new Mineralize Eye Shadow shades, three Mineralize Blushes, four Mineralize Skinfinishes, four Lipsticks, five Cremesheen Glass glosses, Mineralize Satinfinish SPF Foundation SPF 35, Mineralize Charged Water and Mineralize Face + Body Lotion.

Warmth of Coral is described on the MAC Website as Coral, Peach. but you can clearly see that there is some pink swirl in there too.

I am a pink blush kinda girl. I love coral / peach / neutral blushes but i always go back to my pink blushes in the end. When i saw swatches of MAC Semi Precious Collection swatches , i knew i have to have the feeling flush mineralize blush . But i changed my mind at the last moment and asked my friend to pick me up MAC Warmth of Coral Mineralize Blush from his Thailand trip.
It is a beautiful melange of peach, coral and even some pink.This is a very pretty, subtle peach orange blush, leaning more towards light orange. this blush is definitely more peach than coral.It comes in typical MAC black packaging with a clear top and a protector lid .

Mac Warmth Of Coral is definitely a great choice for summer coral/ peach blushes. The colour isn't too bright, but yet manages to add a subtle yet stilll noticable colour and a lovely glow on mu NC30-35 skintone.I dont see it working for skintones darker than NC35 because i doubt that it will show up . Mac Warmth Of Coral makes my skin look kind of sunkissed.There is also a nice sheen which really looks pretty in sunlight. If i have to sum up then i will say peachy coral and pretty.

Texture wise MAC Warmth of Coral Mineralize Blush is pigmented, smooth, and gives off a nice sheen.

GOSH Bronzing Shimmer Powder in Pink - Review

Lets all take a moment and stare at this pure gorgeousness  ..... Momemt over. Okay so let me start with how pretty its looks in the pan with so much shimmer. But when i swatched it , i was heartbroken with the amount of glitter transformed on my hand. It is really shimmery at first but once i swatched more and dust over it with a big powder brush a couple of times the glitter was gone  and it looks more like the picture below 

Once when all the glitter is gone,  you get the beautiful Pink shade. It's a subtle, pink which looks really natural and gives you a soft and rosy glow . It leaves you with a sheen rather than shimmer. I use my big make up brush like sigma F30 to sweep over the face, define cheekbones.
The GOSH bronzing Shimmer powder comes in a sturdy basic black packaging. I would have loved it even more if it came with a mirror.

There are 5 shades in the GOSH bronzing Shimmer powder palette, These five different shades graduate in colour up the compact from lightest to darkest. In my opinion this is quite a versatile product since you can swirl all shades together to get a beautiful natural rosy glow or you can use individual shades for different purposes like highlight, bronzer and blush. Since it not very pigmented which turn out in the favor of this powder as you can easily  tone your look down or up.

Now as you can see GOSH bronzing Shimmer powder in Pink gives a flattering sheen . When applied on my cheeks gives my complexion a glowy and luminous sheen. It looks gorgeous . A perfect summer product for me.

Color Studio Professional Pro Nails - Mojito [NOTD]

Color Studio Professional Mojito is a beautiful creme finish Apple green .

The packaging is well .. professional and very sleek. It sort of reminds me illasmaqua sleek, black packaging. I love how Color Studio Professional comes packaged .The bottle is simple yet elegant with heavy glass and elegant looking.For the price , packaging wise i say they get 5 stars from me. One more thing most of you will love the color studio professionals strict policy against animal testing . 

The formula is just fine , nor too thick nor too thin. I had streaking problem at the first coat but i applied two more, it turned out just fine. I got the full opacity in 3 coats. Dry time was average, i usually smudge my nails while i wait polishes to dry but it luckily dried before i had any smudg-ident . I got 3 days of wear out of my polish, and on the 4th day it started chipping.

When i was taking photos i kept thinking that Mojito reminds me alot of Who the Shrek are you by OPI. So i rushed to my room ,and did a little comparison.

Who the Shrek are you by OPI is limey green with an undertone of mustard yellow where as Mojito is perfect apple green.

Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol. 4 OR 15th Anniversary Eyeshadow Palette .

For some reasons i could'nt sleep last couple of days and late night internet browsing made me read more and more about new Urban decay palettes. So i want one , but i cant decide which one to get Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol. 4 or Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Eyeshadow Palette .

Which one do you like ?

I have asked a friend to do CP for me, i already paid her for $60 , i really want the  Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Eyeshadow Palette .  I am sucker for anything shiny and the package of this is oh so sleek and er well stunning. But i also like the "extras" Book of shadows vol 4 comes with like liner / primer but to many neutrals . I already have urban decay naked palette and the summer of love palette.

 So if you  had to chose one which one will you get ?

Review-Bourjois Clubbing Mascara

Bourjois Paris makes some sincerely great mascaras and I have quite a few on my makeup list that I absolutely Plan to purchase. But i have one mascara i cant stop using,i have few other but bourjois volume clubbing mascara has permanent place in my makeup I absolutely LOVE this mascara,I personally love the effect this mascara gives to my lashes.The good thing about this mascara is the intensity of the colour.You want black, you wil get BLACK.

I applied it and took pic like in 5 mins , didnt have time to seperate them and curl or pamper.You can clearly see the difference, it gives me volume, thickens and gives the curl o my sparse , thin barely there lashes. What more can i ask for?

The wand does have a super thick brush on the end which distributes loads of mascara, so  care does need to be taken with application.Be sure to remove excess mascara from wand before applying or it will cause a big mess. I don't care much for the thick 'clumpyness'. I love it for the sweatproof, waterproof formula .

This mascara is good for thickening and darkening my lashes.It does take a little getting used to in the application. You have to sort of dip your lashes in the well and then... rotate the brush to comb the mascara through. It's very waterproof but I can take it off easily with any oily eyemakeup remover or baby Johnson baby oil .

Warning* A giant one eye ahead

Best way to apply this mascara is to use the flat side to get all the yummy inky blackness onto your lashes, then use the brushy parts to comb through the lashes about a billion times until you're left with perfectly defined, dark lashes. I love this mascara. It gives you the closest thing to false lashes that you can get from mascara, in my opinion. The trick is to remember that this is not a mascara that you can just swipe on the go. You have to apply it very carefully, and then use your lash comb quickly afterward because it does go on very thick. But... once you get the hang of it, your lashes will look very dramatic.
